A train enthusiast's delight! This beautifully renovated, Grade II listed station master's house is situated right on the platform of the Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway. Visitors to this unique property enjoy unlimited travel on trains winding their way through the breathtakingly lovely scenery of the Dee Valley between Carrog and Llangollen, 1½ miles away. A delightful town, famous for its annual music eisteddfod, Llangollen also boasts horse drawn canal boat trips, canoeing on the white waters of the river and a fine selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. From the town, narrow boat trips cross the amazing Pontcysyllte aqueduct, and many outdoor activities including mountain bike riding, gorge walking, white water rafting, absieling and climbing are readily available. Pub serving food 50 yards.

Reviews
The Station Masters house was a perfect place for us, accomodation was of a high standard, the location had excellent views of the river and gorge. Just across the bridge there is a pretty walk along the canal into llangollen.
The train passes that came with the property and the sight of the steam trains pulling into Berwyn Station made for a memorable holiday. Will visit again

Nostalgic, steam trains, rushing sounds of the river flowing by & a house with heritage & history. Perfect. Quite the loveliest holiday we have had over New Years. Our family ranged from 13 yearrs to 89 years young! No one wanted to leave.
Walks easily accessible, & everything we needed was in the house.
A lovely experience.
